Branson’s world-famous theme park, Silver Dollar City, can be a busy place. This is why the park has incorporated two family calming rooms complete with low lighting, sensory toys, and soft places to rest.

WonderWorks

WonderWorks holds Sensory Days, where lights and music are lowered and loud exhibits are turned off. The large attraction has three floors of educational exhibits and rides for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not

Ripley’s Believe it Or Not is a Certified Autism Center, meaning 80% or more of its staff has received training in assisting individuals who are autistic. Contact them today to see which of their attractions could benefit your family.

Elevate Branson

Elevate Branson is a program-based charity that assists those families struggling with unemployment or homelessness and provides resources for them to learn new skills and provide for themselves. The building has the only on-site sensory room open to the public in Branson. For more information about using the sensory room, contact them online or on Facebook.

Branson RecPlex Park

The Branson RecPlex, part of Branson’s Parks and Recreation Department, has an outdoor inclusive playground to accommodate children with disabilities or wheelchairs and a shaded seating area next to it. There are several other parks and walking trails that can be found on the Parks and Recreation website.
